12 years Married and counting

I was just thinking about this the other day; Tim and I have been 'together' for now 13 years although married for 12. I have 2 upcoming teenaged girls, should I be feeling 'older'? Here I am going to turn 34 this June. I was starting to feel a bit weary, but then seeing my girls enjoying their day with us it was all worth it. This is a huge fireplace (although its not noticeable.)

I just want to interject here that Tim is really the most 'perfect man' that God could have ever put in my life. We haven't been without our marital trials, yet we still love each other (*and really that is what should count).

we went for the day to Springfield, Missouri, just a little over 1 hour away from us. We went to the 'Bass Pro Shop' headquarters. It was just like going to a museum, the kids (and we) had loads of fun.

I know that it doesn't look it, but Kiona, and I weren't feeling good at all. We both had colds on that day and almost didn't go yet we are glad we did.

We all had loads of fun (*on Tim and my anniversary) and we are happy that the kids got to enjoy this time, we had lots of fun. Even the restrooms were decorative.

Valorie and Georgia really enjoyed finding all the 'cool animals' (although stuffed) to pet.

The really nice thing about this place was the fact that they brought the "out doors" alive. There were lots of inside ponds and aquariums where there were actual bass and "huge fish" I have never seen before, to ducks swimming chasing the fish. It was such fun~!

Tim has his birthday!!!!

"Pineapple upside down cake" is Tim's favorite. His mom used to make it for him, I really doubt that the kids and I were able to come close to how she made it, but we tried. I had thought to call my sister Teri and get some pointers on how to make the cake. It was definitely an experience that we enjoyed as a family.

Tim wanted to get a bird bath to add to our collection of 'bird watching' possibilities. He had seen some at the store a while back but they were all $80+ and that was way out of our price range. However he met this guy at wal mart who told him about this type that ended up being just $26. Then we went by the Dollar store to get some helium balloons wrap around the base.

This is a picture that Olivia drew on the computer of Tim. I thought it was the cutest thing.
